Welcome. At Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, the beautiful location in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro allows you to embark on countless memorable experiences during your holiday in Kenya. Enjoy a varied array of excursions, from exploring Amboseli National Park to thrilling safari activities, eco-tourism adventures, bush expeditions and more. Itinerary

Day 1 - Airport transfer
Joyventure Safaris Limited driver tour guide will pick you from your hotel or airport in Nairobi and proceed for Amboseli national park. The safari normally takes about 4-5 hours to get to Amboseli National Park.

Amboseli national park is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro and spectacular landscape.

You will arrive in time for lunch at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge Check in at the lodge.
Have a short rest before proceeding for an afternoon game drive until dusk. You will be amazed by the amount of wildlife you will view.

Return to the camp for dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. The lodge offers 92 rooms
Day 2 - Full day game activities
Joyventure Safaris Limited tour guide will pick guests from the hotel and proceed for an early morning game drive before returning to the Lodge for breakfast. The remaining part of the morning is spent at leisure enjoying the lodge facilities. Lunch will be served at the lodge before proceeding to an afternoon game drive as from 1600hrs until dusk.

Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Final adventure day
Enjoy an early morning game drive before returning to your lodge for Breakfast. After breakfast, check out with an en-route game drive off Amboseli. Drive towards Nairobi. On arrival, Joyventure Safaris Limited driver tour guide will drop you at your hotel or airport to catch your flight back home.

FAQ

Can we get a bush flight from Amboseli lodge to sweet waters camp direct?
There is an airstrip very close to Amboseli Lodge, but unfortunately I don't know if they fly to Sweet Waters Camp. We flew in from Nairobi and then flew on to the Masai Mara. Might be best to email the reception, they were very helpful to us
Between rooms facing the water hole and those facing Kilimanjaro, which is better?
Having stayed at Serna before, my experience is that the choice of rooms are not that important. You will be out during the day time and in the afternoons the best view (and its great) of the watering whole is being seated at a common area close to the main building (and get served a nice cool drink)

Top service from the staff, as noted from Lemayian and Kararei.From the time of planning, booking and checking in Joyventure has been of much help.
